Active Intersection is a creative collective making space disco music with a progressive rock twist out of Cleveland, Ohio (USA).

The band is a collaboration between Finnish vocalist and songwriter Kate Nord (Vivaldi Metal Project), American composer and multi instrumentalist Jeff Campbell, and poet Merika Campbell on lyrics.

The name ‘Active Intersection’ refers to the creative crossroads where vision and passion cross paths - Visual elements and music intertwine in this project to evoke deep emotion as well as inspire joy and create memorable experiences.

Active Intersection are releasing their debut record, ‘Traveling Without Moving’, on November 6th, 2026. Prepare your dancing shoes as well as your chill jacket because you are in for a ride with the music from this fun-loving group of creatives. 

‘Traveling Without Moving’ follows a journey of personal growth, going from inner chaos to emotional clarity. Through moments of panic, surrender, adventure, boundaries, and the steady support of good friends, the songs explore moving through fear, letting go of what no longer serves you, and how human connection lights the way back to our true selves.

The album title is a reference to the group’s intercontinental collaboration, showing that ideas can cross oceans when the creative Intersection is truly Active. No teleportation device - Just a steady WiFI signal.
